Recycled Wreath

I was having a dig around in my Christmas decorations and came across this sad, squashed wreath that I made years ago. Usually I keep using the same decorations year after year, so I thought it was about time to update something.  I completely stripped it and started again to create a whole new wreath.  I've used 'Christmas Lights Sprite' from Aurora Wings as the "centrepiece".
Products used:
  • Wreath
  • Ribbon
  • Wired holly tinsel
  • Burlap braided 'ribbon'
  • ProMarkers - Soft Lime, Leaf Green, Apple, Meadow Green, Cool Grey 1-3, Shale, Burgundy, Cardinal, Ruby, Pumpkin, Gold, Tulip, Sunflower, Canary, Black, Cool Grey 5, Lush Green, Holly, Mint Green & Lemon
  • Sakura Gelly Roll - White
BEFORE - Original wreath

AFTER - Newly decorated wreath

I am entering my wreath into the following challenges:
  1. Stamps by Aurora Wings - #60 Recycled
  2. Stamps by Aurora Wings (FB) - Anything Goes
  3. Not Just Cards - November Anything Goes
  4. Morgan's ArtWorld - #22 Anything Goes

  1. OMG! This turned out so cute! I have a tendency to reuse my old stuff without updating too. You've inspired me to rethink the old and revamp. Such sweet, fun coloring of Christmas Lights Sprite. Love it all! Thanks so much for joining our Recycled Challenge at Aurora Wings. xxD

  4. SO cute and a clever idea. However, even though this adorable image is dressed as Santa, our theme is to actually see Santa on your creation. Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Double D ‘Here Comes Santa Claus’ challenge! We hope you’ll come back often.

  5. What a wonderful way to breath a new life into a tired old wreath, Nicola! This is such a cute idea with the beautifully colored Christmas Lights Sprite in the middle of the newly revamped wreath. You inspired me to do some updating on my Christmas decorations!
